Week recap: PS3 160GB; Xbox 360 falls; Wii No. 3

Sony this week said that it will retail a new 160GB PS3 bundle SKU in Nov. The bundle will include Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for $499.

Sony this week said it will offer a new PS3 Wireless Keypad for easy in-game communication in Nov. The peripheral can connect to any Sixaxis or Dualshock 3 controller.

Sony's Blu-ray backed Playstation 3 80GB ranked in the top 10 at Amazon this week two days after availability. The new SKU includes a Dualshock 3 controller for $399.

The 80GB SKU held a spike in sales immediately upon debut at Amazon.

Sales for the PS3 increased this week in the latest Japan retail data. The PS3 ranked No. 4 in overall hardware sales.

Sony this week said that it will retail a new PSP model that includes a new LCD screen and built-in mic. The new model will be sold in bundle SKUs in the U.S. this fall.

Take-Two Interactive Inc. this week said it will retail Bioshock to the PS3 in late Oct. The version will include all-new features and Trophy support.
