Gears of War's first map pack DLC came within two months after its November 2006 release, and it appears that Gears of War 2 will be following the same trend.

In an interview with Joystiq, developer Epic Games's Cliff Bleszinski said that the downloadable content supplementing their highly anticipated sequel will arrive "very soon within' the [Gears of War 2] launch timeframe." Just like the initial "Old Bones" and "Raven Down" map additions for the first ...

Last we heard, it was still up in the air somewhat as to whether upcoming PlayStation 3 consoles would house the elusive 65-nanometer RSX graphics processor. According to a curious buyer of Sony's newest 80GB unit, there is a smidgen of data that hints at a 65nm chip actually being under the hood. By using the oh-so-scientific Kill-A-Watt, he discovered that his older 40GB PS3 sucked down 125.8-watts when idle, while the fresh 80GB edition ate up just 111.9-watts. The findings were similar ...

The price cut rumors we've been hearing for September look to be gathering even more steam, as this Radio Shack ad shows drops to $399 for the Elite system and $199 for the Arcade. That's down $50 on the Elite and $80 on Arcade, making your choices a nice smooth progression of Benjamins—$199/$299/$399. The drops are rumored to hit early next month.

Up until now, Wii-owning racers have been stuck with the Wii Wheel, Brando's Wii Multi-Axis Racing System or something they cooked up in arts and crafts. Now, however, Logitech is providing a much better option for serious track stars. The Speed Force Wireless racing wheel is the first force-feedback wheel for Nintendo's latest console, and while it was designed to work with Need For Speed Undercover, it'll do just fine with future force-feedback racing titles as well. Disgustingly, you still ...
